Ideias na Web

A procurar a ordem no meio do caos

At the end of the day…

As a friend of mine usually likes to say: “at the end of the day”…what we really need to do is “… Get Found by creating great content, optimizing that content for search and promoting that content in social media and then convert these website visitors into leads and customers.”

I read this in an article from Hubspot Blog and I totally agree with this approach.

We sometimes get focused too much in rankings and forget that we have to focus our efforts in being found and in generating leads, this is what will move our business forward. Even if other people think that the important thing is generate traffic…bahhhh…if I have lots of visitors but generate no interest, what does this mean for my business? NOTHING!

2010 is now starting…

A new year is starting and I realize I’m not having the time I would like to dedicate to this Blog.

I hope I will arrange my time and find some to write down my thoughts and register articles I found interesting across the Web.

The truth is I have learned a lot since I engaged in Twitter (the one I use most for Professional findings), I receive tones of valuable links to very useful information. This is what I find exciting in Online Marketing, we are always on the move, every day theres is a new tip, a new solution for our challenges, we just need to type “How to….” in the search engines…and this applies either to our professional or personal life :)

The main challenge is to stay focused! Or else we wouldn’t sleep!

My phone crashed before New Year (this is horrifying in my case :) ) … Thanks to the web, I found the solution, hard-reseted it and got back to life!

I totally agree…Social Media is becoming a judge…

I was reading this article and thinking that I do exactly what is being mentioned. When I need to buy something I search blogs, forums, anything that talks about the product or service and most important, something that has comments or reviews, then I make my decision…

I did that just  recently when coosing my next mobile phone (smart, of course :) )! I did comparisons, watched Youtube demos…it’s positive but it can also be very confusing….
